Manila “Yorme” Franciso “Isko Moreno” Domagoso has been awarded Gusi Peace Prize for 2019 for creating positive changes in his city.
The Gusi Peace Prize International group recognized Moreno’s passionate and untiring effort finding peaceful, equal and humane solution for the welfare of his constituents. The charitable acknowledges Moreno’s work from the time he was a Councilor and Vice Mayor.
“You contributed greatly to the lives of people through consistently creating positive changes,” read the letter notifying Moreno, which was signed by Gusi chairman Barry Gusi and president Hazim Dawud.
According to Gusi Peace Prize Philippines, Yorme’s continues effort to make positive changes in the city of Manila has lowered crimes dramatically and created environmental awareness in a short period of time.
Mayor Isko was invited in the awarding ceremony to personally received the Gusi Peace Prize award for 2019 that will be held at the Philippine International Convention Center on November 27, 2019 at 6pm.
Among the famous personalities who received the Gusi Peace Prize award were Fernando Poe, Jr., Nora Aunor, Julius Babao, Dolphy, Mel Tiangco, Jose Mari Chan and more.
